AHS is recruiting for this position.
AHS Sponsorship for CPSA Practice Readiness Assessment is not offered for this position.

The hospitalist group at the South Health Campus is the largest admitting service at the site. We pride ourselves in providing excellent patient-centered care through the continuum of hospital care: seeing patients in the ER and following them onto our inpatient units and organizing post-acute care. We are responsible for ordering treatments, tests, and consults with specialty physicians and primary care physicians where appropriate. Addiction, mental health and social issues frequently complicate the medical issues, and so in this role advocacy at the patient and system level will be a key part of this this role. Our site also has a unique inpatient unit, the Rapid Access Unit designed for short stay patients that fit hospitalist admission criteria. We are looking for clinicians who are highly receptive and seek regular feedback. An expectation would be that clinicians who are hired be involved with various quality improvement initiatives and be actively involved with non-clinical activities in our group.
