The Department of Surgery, Alberta Health Services-Calgary Zone and the University of Calgary invite applications for a Fellowship trained General Surgeon with subspecialty training in Colorectal Surgery to work at the Peter Lougheed Centre.

Teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate level will be required. Participation in research related to clinical outcomes or medical education is expected. Committee duties will be expected as the need arises. The successful candidate will take call according to the site and Alberta Health Services policies.

Qualifications include an MD, a Fellowship in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in General Surgery with additional fellowship training in Colorectal surgery. Candidates with a Master’s Degree are preferred. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in the province of Alberta.
