Medical Affairs, Alberta Health Services, Calgary Zone is inviting interested candidates to apply for the position of Medical Leader, System Integration.

This position will work collaboratively with operational and medical leaders in the Calgary Zone, including the Medial Director of Primary Care and Medical Directors of the 7 Primary Care Networks (PCNs) in the Calgary Zone, to develop strategies and service delivery models that will enhance system integration across the continuum of care. The focus is on improving integration and linkages between specialists and primary care; and acute care and the community. The successful applicant will also provide medical support to the Calgary Zone regarding, strategic direction, and the development and implementation of policies, procedures and best practices that will support an integrated health system.

We are seeking applicants who are specialist physicians with previous medical leadership experience, who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and abilities to work in a team environment.

This is a 0.3 FTE Medical Leadership position which will report to the Calgary Zone Medical Director. Remuneration will be in accordance with the Medical Leadership Compensation Grid.
