This position is for a highly flexible individual who can provide integrated and comprehensive mental health care to children and Youth and their families in a specialized mood clinic at RRDTC for two days a week. Another 2 days a week would be working with the Youth Substance Abuse team and 1 day visiting Hull Services following AHS patients from these two clinics who have mental health and Substance issues. the successful individual would be taking on a clinical lead Physician role working closely with Woods Staff, Children’s Services and AHS staff. On call requirements will be fulfilled at Alberta Children’s Hospital as necessary.

Qualifications of the applicant should include an MD, Candidates must hold a certificate in Psychiatry and have at least 2 years training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The successful applicant will demonstrate a core competency as a leader but more importantly a key collaborator with other discipline’s, communicator, scholar, professional and health advocate. The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
