Alberta Health Services, in partnership with the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, are inviting applications from clinical sub-specialists in Gynecologic Oncology to apply for a locum tenens position, 6 months, possibly renewable. Start date January 15, 2019 (negotiable).

The successful candidate will complement the current group of five gynecologic oncologists and our multi-disciplinary team at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women on the Royal Alexandra Hospital campus and at the Cross Cancer Institute.

Inpatient care and surgery are based at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women. Outpatient clinics (new and follow-up) and chemotherapy are based at the Cross Cancer Institute.

The successful applicant shall have or be eligible for certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.

Completion of a clinical fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology is required. Individuals interested in education of trainees are encouraged to apply. A strong interest in research is an asset.
